New role:

Veteran land use attorney who has helped play a key role in revitalization projects in Broward County and is the new chairwoman of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.


Crush mainly grew up in New Jersey near Philadelphia and went to law school at the University of Florida. She worked for Gunster Law Firm before launching her own practice in 2005.

Biggest Challenge:

Helping clients negotiate rules and regulations so they can help revitalize neighborhoods.

Key business partner:

Husband Jason Crush joined the practice in 2011. “It’s very nice to have a law partner that you trust implicitly,” she says.

You may not know:

Courtney did mutual fund accounting for State Street Bank early in her career.

Charity work:

Courtney is on the board of Pets’ Broward and her family has personally rescued three dogs. 


“I enjoy practicing law. I care less for the administrative aspects of a large company. I love dealing with clients.”

What’s next:

Crush has been an attorney on the 100-unit RIVA project, which will be along the Middle River just north of Sunrise Boulevard. The chamber is expected to continue highlighting the relationship between education and workforce development. She would like to run a 5K race in 2014 – she ran track in college.
