Edward Beiner was born in Brazil and raised in many countries around the world. With his ability to spot and set trends, the young brand-savvy designer quickly developed a reputation as an influential industry leader and curator, offering lifestyle-oriented consumers the most unique collections of superior eyewear coupled with an unparalleled customer experience. 

Over 30 years ago, Beiner opened his first eyewear boutique in Miami, and in 1996, he and his wife Daniela decided to make the Village of Pinecrest their home. “We moved to Pinecrest because we really liked the sense of community,” Beiner says. “We felt that it was a great place to raise the children. We loved the parks, the schools and the community center.” Their children, David, 25, and Steven, 22, grew up in the village, attending Temple Beth Am Day School and Gulliver High School, and have since moved away to pursue their own careers. Beiner and Daniela remain very active members of “Tree City USA” and enjoy biking to the farmers market, going to concerts at the Pinecrest Community Center and attending many other area activities.

On a professional level, Beiner spends his time researching the latest in styles and technology and designing his own signature eyewear collection. He has released one exclusive collection per year over the past decade. These collections are inspired by Beiner’s continuous journey to acquire knowledge, experience cultures and become inspired. Whether it is a lush landscape, beautiful waterfalls or the exciting hues of the Arctic night sky, all of Beiner’s experiences have contributed to the vibrant colors, minimalist flare and retro stylings of his collections – a perfect combination of artful design, great fit and comfort. Handmade by artisans in the French Alps, they are manufactured in limited quantities and are available in both prescription glasses and sunglasses.  

Aside from being the ultimate eyewear designer, Beiner has become a true force in shaping the high-end customer segment that’s characterized by fashionable, state-of-the-art eyewear that the most demanding consumer would not find anywhere else. “Brands like Anne et Valentin, Oliver Goldsmith, Kuboraum, Moscot, Thierry Lasry, Barton Perreira, Mykita, The Row and Illesteva, among others, reflect the quality and uniqueness of the products that resonate with our clientele,” Beiner says. 

With a clientele that includes LeBron James, Heidi Klum, Alicia Keys, Jason Derulo, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, Beiner is no secret to the stars.
