Current role: Jaffe founded her business in 1984 and has won awards from the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) as well as been featured in numerous magazines, including Florida Design, Casa & Estilo and Haute Décor.

Background: Jaffe is from Connecticut, but grew up in Hollywood, Fla., and graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in interior design. She was an interior design instructor at the Ringing School of Art and an adjunct instructor at the AutoNation Art and Design Academy at Nova Southeastern University.

Biggest challenge:  She says, “To never lose my passion for the work I love!”

Products and services: Jaffe handles both commercial and residential customers, ranging from space planning and interior design master planning to flooring, wall coverings, custom furniture, fabrics, textiles, kitchen and bath design, model home merchandising and renovations.

Secrets to her success: A flexible, adaptive attitude with clients to create a comfort level and a bond of trust.

Favorite local restaurant: JAZZIZ Nightlife at Mizner Park in Boca Raton

Hobbies: Listening to music, travel, theater, entertaining friends, baking, singing and drawing.

Philosophical quote: “It is your attitude, not aptitude, that will get you your altitude.”

Charity work: Jaffe and her sons, David and Michael, initiated “Hopping 4 A Cure,” a pending 501c3 non-profit, which includes hopscotch tournaments at schools raising $1,500 for needs-based college scholarships and caregiver support to help families with Multiple Sclerosis. Jaffe also holds a gently-used handbag drive yearly to benefit Family Central.

What’s next: Jaffe has been accepted to Nova Southeastern University to pursue her Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Education. ?
