Weston Hills 4 ALS Golf Tournament

THE EVENT  Every December, Weston Hills Country Club (WHCC), managed by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, holds a keynote fundraising event in South Florida to benefit research for ALS. The event, known as “Weston Hills 4 ALS,” honors Tom Watson’s longtime caddy, Bruce Edwards, who passed away from the disease in 2004. On December 7th, Members and non-members can help and participate in the silent auction, raffle, become a supplier, make a donation and/or sponsor a tee sign.  Players must be members of Weston Hills.

THE CAUSE  The ALS Therapy Development Institute is a nonprofit biotechnology organization founded in 1999, and is the leading translational research center in the world for ALS.  The Mission of ALS TDI is simple and profound: to develop effective therapeutics for ALS as quickly as possible. They envision a future where patients no longer die from ALS and where today’s patients are alive, well, and enjoying the company of their children and grandchildren.
