1. CELEBRITY CHEFS EVENT

The 28th Annual Celebrity Chefs event will be hosted by the Ann Storck Center, a nonprofit organization in Fort Lauderdale dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at the Grand Ballroom of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. The event will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by an open bar and tastings from some of South Florida’s top restaurants, breweries and bakeries. 2. YOUNG MUSICIANS UNITE

The 11th Annual Gala of Young Musicians Unite, a nonprofit organization providing music education to students irrespective of their socio-economic status, will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Mana Wynwood (318 NW 23rd St, Miami. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best “Motown Gold” attire. Young Musicians Unite aims to provide turnkey music education solutions for Title 1 schools throughout Miami-Dade County, offering trained instructors, lesson plans, instruments, and other essential resources for vibrant music classes. 3. PEDIATRIX FLIP FLOPS ON THE DOCKS

The 19th Annual Pediatrix Flip Flops on the Docks fundraiser will be hosted by The Friends of Jack & Jill Center, a group of volunteers that supports community awareness, fundraising and program assistance for Jack & Jill Center’s children and their families. The event will occur from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on April 27 at the Lauderdale Yacht Club. Overlooking the Intracoastal waterway, the venue will be adorned with vibrant beach décor, creating an unforgettable evening ambiance. Guests can enjoy tropical-inspired drinks, food and live music and have the chance to bid on luxurious items through both live and virtual silent auctions. 4. UKG WALK LIKE MADD & MADD DASH FORT LAUDERDALE 5K

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Southeast Florida is set to organize the 13th Annual UKG Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K event at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 28 near Huizenga Plaza in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The event is aimed at raising awareness against drunk driving and drugged driving and is expected to be attended by thousands of walkers, runners and supporters. The Sheriff’s Foundation of Broward County is presenting the event. The festivities include children’s activities, awards ceremonies, live musical performances and vendor/educational booths. 5. MONOPOLY & CASINO NIGHT GALA

The 2024 Monopoly and Casino Night gala at 6 p.m. on April 13 at The Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club in Boca Raton will be a night to remember for Boca Helping Hands (BHH) supporters. The Monopoly-themed event will feature delicious hors d’oeuvres and dinner, a Chance Wall and auctions, casino games and dancing. The proceeds will go towards BHH’s various programs, including providing hunger relief, job training, healthcare, emergency financial assistance, childcare and weekend meals for Palm Beach County schoolchildren.
