A Sunday Well Spent: Polo Season’s Final Matches Await

The Palm Beach International Polo Season continues through April 27 at the National Polo Center in Wellington.

As polo season nears its close, there’s still time to enjoy one of South Florida’s most refined Sunday traditions. Through April 27, the Palm Beach International Polo Season continues at the National Polo Center in Wellington, offering an elevated blend of world-class competition, champagne brunches, and timeless elegance.

A favorite among equestrian enthusiasts and the social set alike, Sunday matches at U.S. Polo Assn. Field One are a spectacle of sport and sophistication. Guests can take in the action from grandstand seating or the stylish fieldside pavilion, where brunch is paired with flowing mimosas and panoramic views of the sprawling grass field—equivalent in size to nine football fields.

The atmosphere is festive and refined, with traditions like the halftime divot stomp—where guests step onto the field for a bubbly-filled social interlude—and the addition of a traditional Argentine Sunday Asado that brings culinary flair to the experience.

Upgrades this season, including a dedicated scoreboard at the newly developed Field Two, reflect the National Polo Center’s growing reputation as a premier international polo destination.

Dress the part: Women often opt for dresses and wedges (ideal for the grass), while men lean into polished spring looks with collared shirts and smart separates.

There’s still time to enjoy the final matches of the season:
