Fort Lauderdale Welcomes Its First SEV MedSpa

The brand has been touted by Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Chrissy Teigen.

SEV, a spa brand with over 40 U.S. locations and numerous celebrity endorsements, has announced the opening of its newest spa in Fort Lauderdale at 701 N. Federal Highway near Flagler Village. This expansion is in line with SEV’s ambitious goal to strengthen its national footprint and aims to reach 50 units by the year’s end, effectively doubling its current size. The spa offers advanced technology and services for laser hair removal, injectables, body contouring, and other aesthetic treatments. For a limited time, SEV is offering new clients a special Community Welcome promotion, which includes 50% off their first laser hair removal appointment.

In 2010, Sevana Petrosian founded SEV as a small business located within a Glendale, California, hair salon. The company’s mission was to offer a luxurious experience at an affordable and transparent price. SEV quickly gained popularity as a go-to destination for celebrities from Beverly Hills and West Hollywood seeking top-notch and empathetic laser aesthetics services.

“When I launched SEV, most med spas were owned by men. I wanted to create a space that felt more like a cozy, welcoming home than a clinical setting—designed to be inviting for both women and men,” Petrosian says. “Each SEV location offers comfort and ease for a treatment that could feel sensitive and vulnerable. We strive to provide the best service in each beautifully crafted space, ensuring an upscale yet affordable experience for every client.”

The opening in Fort Lauderdale marks the third location in Florida and the 44th overall for SEV. The medical spa will initially focus on providing laser hair removal services and plans to roll out additional services in the coming months, including injectable procedures and advanced skin and body treatments. According to Petrosian, each location reflects a dedication to comfort, a refined atmosphere, and inclusivity, ensuring all clients have a remarkable and empowering experience.

“Our brand philosophy is rooted in providing an upscale yet accessible experience,” says Arno Avasapian, CMO of SEV Laser. “We’ve always prioritized a welcoming atmosphere over the clinical feel of traditional med spas. This approach, combined with our state-of-the-art technology and exceptional customer service, sets us apart.”
