Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Launches 2025 Cookie Season

The funds help support outdoor adventures, service projects, and travel opportunities.

The Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida is ushering in the sweetest season of the year with the kickoff of the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie season, inviting fans to indulge their cravings while supporting young girls in developing their entrepreneurial skills and pursuing brighter futures. This cherished tradition returns in full swing, featuring both beloved classics and innovative avenues for girls to reach their goals.

This year’s selection includes the iconic flavors that fans have come to love, such as Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs. However, cookie lovers should be aware that 2025 will mark the final season for the beloved Girl Scout S’mores cookie, making this a unique opportunity to enjoy it one last time.

Through participation in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest entrepreneurial initiative for girls globally, participants acquire vital business and leadership skills like goal setting, money management, decision-making, interpersonal skills, and business ethics. Each box sold not only fuels girls’ ambitions but also enhances their courage, confidence, and character as they face new challenges and embrace transformative experiences.

“Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, our girls develop skills that prepare them to take on the world,” says Lisa Johnson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. “Every cookie purchase fuels unique opportunities for Girl Scouts to explore their passions, make an impact in their communities and gain experiences they’ll carry for a lifetime.”

Every dollar earned from cookie sales remains in the community, aiding Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida troops in funding exciting activities such as outdoor adventures, service projects, and travel opportunities. Community members are invited to support their local Girl Scouts by ordering cookies or visiting a nearby cookie booth. Girl Scout Cookies are available for purchase in South Florida from now until March 2.

Alongside supporting local Girl Scouts, community members can get involved in the 17th annual Cookies for the Military program. This initiative lets customers donate cookies to service members both at home and abroad, providing them with a comforting “taste of home.” Last year, over 57,798 boxes were donated, and Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida aims to reach a goal of 75,000 boxes in 2025. Since the program’s inception, more than 813,000 boxes have been shipped in collaboration with nonprofit organizations that offer care packages and support to troops and their families, including Forgotten Soldiers, Operation Homefront, the American Legion, and Soldiers’ Angels. To support Cookies for the Military, donations can be made by purchasing a box ($6) or case ($72) from a Girl Scout or by visiting www.cookiesforthemilitary.org.
