South Florida Strawberry Festival Returns to Boca Raton

Enjoy three days of kid-friendly, family fun.

The South Florida Strawberry Festival features a weekend-long festival with something for all attendees. This annual event will take place at a much larger venue, South County Regional Park (12551 Glades Rd.), from 4 p.m to 10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19. The mother-and-daughter duo of Artisan Promotions returns for their third year organizing the festival. With over 40 years of experience from the renowned New England Christmas Festival, they are excited to unite the South Florida community for a mid-winter outdoor celebration of strawberries in the sunny weather.

“Our goal was to create an event that has something for everyone…from babies to empty nesters,” says Skyler Mendieta, Co-Founder of the South Florida Strawberry Festival. “A festival that is entertaining, taste bud satisfying, adrenaline-inducing…and the whole event centers around strawberries. You name it, we have it!”

The weekend-long festival includes:

Experience a delightful array of Strawberry Treats, captivating Live Music & Entertainment, engaging Kids Activities, exhilarating Rides, vibrant Inflatable Villages, and unique Artisan Shopping. Enjoy the hilarious antics of the America’s Got Talent Stunt Dog Show, which is back by popular demand. Revel in live performances while savoring mouthwatering “Strummies” and tasty offerings from local food vendors. Families will enjoy heart-pounding rides, slides, mega inflatables, bumper boats, and bungee trampolines. Create a strawberry-shaped cookie in our Cookie Decorating Tent or craft strawberry-scented creations in the Magic Candle-Making Tent, with all proceeds benefiting the IDDeal Foundation. Don’t forget to visit the Petting Zoo to cuddle with adorable live animals!

Children will have a blast in the secure Strawberry Soft Play Area, designed just for them. They won’t miss the chance to meet and snap photos with the festival mascot, Silly Sammy the Strawberry. There’s the exciting U.S. Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course for teens and adults to test their athletic skills, along with the thrilling Derby and Water Race Game Trailers. Attendees can also explore the Pop-Up Shopping Village, showcasing beautiful handmade treasures from American and international artisans, unique home decor pieces, and delicious specialty foods.

“Florida is the No. 1 winter strawberry producer and we wanted to celebrate the wonderful weather we have here in South Florida in January with the South Florida Strawberry Festival,” says Jackie Ralston, Co-Founder of Artisan Promotions Inc.

Artisan Promotions has established itself as a leading show promoter in the U.S. for the past four decades, ranked among the Top 100. They also produce the third-highest Art and Craft Show in the country, according to Sunshine Artist Magazine. Jackie and Skyler are applying their well-known, meticulous approach to marketing, quality, and organization to this vibrant strawberry festival. In collaboration with Palm Beach County, they are curating this festival.
