The west Delray Beach dining scene is buzzing over the debut of Warren (pictured above), branded as an “American, Whiskey and Kitchen” experience. Named after the uncle of Jeff John, CEO of Damn Good Hospitality Group, the space embodies Uncle Warren’s spirit, bachelor lifestyle—and appreciation of top-shelf spirits.
To that end, the 6,000-square-foot space—dressed in rich leathers, velvet seating, and warm wood flooring—boasts an old-school whiskey wall that displays some of the more than 900 bottles on its menu. In addition to rare whiskeys (Michter’s Celebration, all vintages of Pappy Van Winkle), Warren has a program with single-barrel bourbon selections from top American distilleries.
On the food side, expect hearty contemporary American dishes—St. Louis ribs, tomahawk steak, Nashville hot chicken on brioche buns—and raw-bar favorites. In keeping with the vibe, expect a touch of bourbon in the whiskey gravy. At the end of the meal, tables receive fresh-made cotton candy. (warrendelray.com)
