211 Broward Provides 24/7 Comprehensive Helpline and Support Services

All callers can talk to a trained counselor with a degree willing to listen to their concerns.

The ongoing conflict in Israel has heightened the demand for mental health support, and 211 Broward extends its sincere thoughts to all those impacted by recent global events. Continuing regular activities during these trying times may be challenging, and the community may require time to mourn. The main objective of 211 Broward is to offer a round-the-clock, all-inclusive helpline and support services to people and families residing in the Broward County region who need crisis intervention assistance or information and connections to health and human services. Each call to 211 is attended by a competent, qualified counselor who listens to the caller’s issues, assesses their requirements, and links them with relevant agencies and programs to assist them.

In addition, 211 Broward has been a partner of the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for over ten years and is responsible for answering all 988 suicide hotline calls originating in Broward County.

The community is invited to connect with 211 Broward by dialing 2-1-1, downloading the 211 Broward App, chatting with the team via their app or website, or texting their zip code to 898211. For more information, they can visit 211-broward.org.
