Anticipated Return of Miami Swim Week Approaches

The event aims a global spotlight on fashion, culture, and sustainability.

Miami Swim Week – The Shows is gearing up for its highly-anticipated return from May 29 to June 2. As the world’s largest event for swim and resort wear, this week-long celebration offers a diverse program featuring over 50 events and 100 national and international designers at more than 20 satellite locations. From runway shows to exclusive after-parties, Miami Swim Week highlights the evolution of swimwear fashion, showcasing both established veterans and up-and-coming talents.

This year, Miami Swim Week – The Shows emphasizes inspiring and promoting new and emerging designers worldwide, focusing on inclusivity, diversity, and sustainability. The main venue for the event is the SLS South Beach Hotel. The Shows will feature a variety of designers from countries such as Australia, Africa, and France, each presenting their take on ready-to-wear summer and resort styles. The lineup of designers includes Ema Savahl from Miami, Mars The Label from Australia, Lascana from Europe, Liberty & Justice + The Made in Africa Collective, Salty Mermaid Swim from the USA, Olivia London from Canada, Liech Antel Swimwear from Mexico, Banana Moon from France, Kené Kaya from Peru, and the Emerging Designer’s Collective.

“We are constantly innovating to create a bridge between wellness, beauty, and fashion. Miami Swim Week – The Shows exists to not just showcase brands, but to help identify the pain points for designers and connect them to the resources, consumers, and support they need to continue to elevate their businesses,” Moh Ducis says, Founder and CEO of Miami Swim Week.

Miami Swim Week’s upcoming installment promises an immersive experience featuring cutting-edge technologies such as AR, VR, Virtual-Marketplaces, and Blockchain. These advancements and various beauty and wellness activities will elevate Swim Week into a multi-sensory extravaganza. Attendees can anticipate conscious beauty lounges, the designer marketplace “splash,” industry receptions and luncheons, impact panels with industry experts, exclusive parties, pop-up shops, networking events, and the Hammock Trade Show, all against the backdrop of the picturesque Miami coastline. The SLS South Beach, National Hotel, Queen Miami Beach, Hyde Beach, Salvaje Miami, and Seaspice are among the venues set to host these exclusive activities.

Miami Swim Week will kick off for the third consecutive year with a charity event benefiting The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF) on May 29 at SLS South Beach. All proceeds from the event will support the nonprofit organization, which assists underserved children and their families across South Florida. The Little Lighthouse Foundation operates over 20 proprietary programs alongside 33 partner facilities, such as homeless shelters, hospitals, and youth centers. This year’s Miami Swim Week is anticipated to attract over 15,000 buyers, press/media, sponsors, and industry professionals and is projected to generate more than 50 million online consumer impressions worldwide. The event has garnered support from various sponsors, including those in the beverage/hydration, tanning, and beauty/lifestyle sectors.
