Undercover Santa Hosts 2nd Annual Cabaret for a Cause Fundraiser

WheelHouse IT presents the event.

Those attending Undercover Santa’s Second Annual Cabaret for a Cause can anticipate an unforgettable evening of glamour, gourmet dining, and charity. Taking place on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Tropics Grille in Wilton Manors, this fundraising event aims to offer a night brimming with live performances by South Florida’s top entertainers, all in aid of Undercover Santa’s goal of helping local families in need.

“This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever, with a lineup of amazing performers and a fall-inspired menu that will delight all of our guests,” says Bill Schultz, founder of Undercover Santa. “Most importantly, the night will help provide much-needed resources to families in need across Broward County.”

Event Schedule:

At 6 p.m., doors open for a vibrant cocktail hour featuring a silent auction and a selection of delicious passed hors d’oeuvres. Indulge in mini Caprese salad skewers, bourbon BBQ meatballs, shrimp and avocado toasties and chicken bacon ranch bites.

Guests will be seated at 7 p.m. for a carefully curated four-course autumn dinner. No late entries will be accepted. They can enjoy a thoughtfully composed dining experience featuring a variety of choices that encapsulate the essence of the autumn season. It is recommended to make early reservations as seating is allocated at the time of ticket purchase. At 7:30 p.m., Bill Schultz, the founder of Undercover Santa, will deliver a welcome toast.

The Cabaret Spectacular kicks off at 8:30 p.m. with co-hosts Miss Bouvèé and Rick Leonard on piano, as well as outstanding performances by South Florida celebrities such as Dre Acevedo, Matthew Darren, Lenora Jaye, Brendan John, Brian Mason, Ralph Meitzler, Natasha Ricketts, Mailyn Soulfree and Alexander Zenoz.

Artists and menus may be subject to change and seating adjustments cannot be accommodated. Drinks can be purchased upon request. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.

In 2008, Undercover Santa started as a modest toy drive sparked by a heartwarming gesture on Christmas Eve 2005. Over the years, it has evolved into a yearly initiative, delivering toys, nourishment and assistance to more than 10,000 families in Broward County. Contributions from Cabaret for a Cause will further aid this crucial cause, helping even more families receive assistance during the festive period.
