Achievement Centers for Children & Families and Hopportunities Host Annual Cornhole for the Kids Tournament Fundraiser

The nonprofit organization offers a range of educational programs for children in Delray Beach.

The Third Annual Cornhole for the Kids Tournament hosted by Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF) in partnership with Hopportunities will benefit ACCF’s educational services for local families. The cornhole tournament begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Opportunities located at 440 NE 5th Ave. in Delray Beach and will also feature raffles, music, a food truck and live entertainment after the tournament concludes. The cost per team for the tournament is $65, and all proceeds will be donated to ACCF. First, second, and third-place teams will receive prizes.

“We have a really fun day planned for all of our participants,” says Hopportunities founder John Macatangay. “Come out ready to play, enjoy food, drink, music and camaraderie– all for a great cause.”

At Achievement Centers for Children & Families in Delray Beach, children participate in various programs such as Early Learning (Toddler and Preschool), After School, Teen, and Summer Camp. The programs are designed to prepare the children for academic and social success while inspiring them to explore and develop their talents.

Hopportunities is a fun venue, and we are looking forward to joining forces again for our annual fundraiser.”

Industrial Depot has been named an ‘In-Betweener’ sponsor for an upcoming event while  Tripping Animals Brewing has been designated as the ‘Beverage In-Kind’ sponsor.
