Annual Golf Classic to Benefit the Rotary Club of Weston Scholarship Fund

For the 15th consecutive year, the law firm Freedland Harwin Valori Ryan, PL will be leading the sponsorship of the 35th annual FHVLegal.com Golf Classic, benefiting the Rotary Club of Weston Scholarship Fund. Weston resident and founding partner of Freedland Harwin Valori Ryan, PL, Michael Freedland, Esq., is a former president of the Rotary Club of Weston and has previously chaired the event for many years.

During FHV’s involvement, the golf tournament has raised over $2 million in scholarships for the Rotary Club of Weston Scholarship Fund, which supports local high school seniors attending college. All net proceeds from the tournament go toward the scholarships presented to outstanding seniors from Cypress Bay High School, Western High School, The Sagemont School and HANDY.

“In addition to a great day of golf, attendees will get to help the leaders of tomorrow achieve their dreams of going to college,” Keith Petron says, chair of the FHVLegal.com Golf Classic. “We are so grateful to our supporters for joining us in making a difference in the lives of our community’s young adults.”

The golf event starts at 6:30 a.m. on April 1 at The Club at Weston Hills in Weston, 2600 Country Club Way. The cost is $600 for one tournament golfer, which includes one ticket to the Tournament’s Awards Luncheon and two tickets to the drawdown and cocktail event. For nongolfers, attending the Tournament’s Awards Luncheon is $100.

“Freedland Harwin Valori Ryan, PL holds this event very close to its heart, having been involved for so many years and watching hundreds of local students achieve great success because of these scholarships,” Freedland says. “Our firm is proud to once again serve as the Title Sponsor for the 15th consecutive year and work with the Rotary Club of Weston to host a fun and rewarding event.
