Zero Empty Spaces (ZES) will continue its expansion as it celebrates opening a new location at the Village at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach. ZES strives to provide affordable artist studios to enhance the area’s cultural community. The nonprofit company will commemorate the latest addition from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday with art displays, a live DJ, refreshments and light bites available for attendees.
As a growing initiative that provides affordable artist studios through its vacancy management company, Zero Empty Spaces aims to convert vacant spaces around the country into functional areas where artists can create and collaborate at an affordable price. The concept is offered at locations in Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale Beach, Doral, Hollywood and now Hallandale Beach. The intention involves getting the local community to develop an appreciation of all art genres of art and enhance cultural opportunities.
Attending the event is free, but guests are requested to RSVP here. For more information, visit Zeroemptyspaces.com.
