BBX Capital and Neighbors 4 Neighbors Partner to Adopt Families With Children Battling Cancer

Over 90 families were treated to a special day of festivities.

BBX Capital and its affiliated companies partnered with Galleria Fort Lauderdale, Neighbors 4 Neighbors, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Bluegreen Vacations, and Community Foundation of Broward to support the “Adopt-a-Family 4 the Holidays” Holiday Heroes Breakfast presented by BBX Capital at the Galleria Fort Lauderdale. At the event, 91 families with children battling cancer were served breakfast, given gifts from Santa, and enjoyed other fun holiday activities courtesy of BBX Capital and its partners.

Families referred to the program were treated to a catered breakfast underwritten by Bluegreen Vacations during the event. They also received wrapped presents and gift cards, which Santa personally delivered. The children got a chance to take photos with Santa, courtesy of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and were pleasantly surprised by special appearances from Spiderman and Wonder Woman.

“BBX Capital is so proud to support the ‘Adopt-A-Family 4 the Holidays’ initiative to help bring so much joy to these children and their families during the holiday season,” Jarett Levan says, president and CEO of BBX Capital. “I also appreciate the executives and employees of our BBX family of companies who volunteered their time to help make this day so special for all these families and their children.”

The event also featured various activities for the children, including wreath decorating sponsored by IT’SUGAR, an interactive science project provided by the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS), a unique chocolate tree decorating activity from Hoffman’s Chocolates, face painting, balloon art, and holiday tunes and games by DJ Pr?c.
