Celebrate Cinco de Mayo Weekend at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale

Tequila, tacos, piñatas and jalapeño-eating contests are on the agenda.

Get ready for the fiesta of a lifetime at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale! It all kicks off with the Fort Lauderdale Tequila Festival on Friday, May 2—the ultimate destination for tequila lovers and fiesta-seekers alike. Guests can sip their way through 100+ tequila selections, explore six themed bars, and complete the Tequila Trail Map by collecting drink stickers from each bar to win prizes. The fun continues with a piñata smash, pin the tail on the donkey, mixology competition, jalapeño eating contest, mini mercado vendors, raffles, and plenty of giveaways.

The celebration keeps rolling with Sombreros on the River on Saturday, May 3. Get a FREE Corona or Modelo when you buy a shot of Casa Noble Tequila, plus a sombrero if you’re among the first 1,000 people to RSVP and arrive for the weekend’s festivities.

If you have to miss out on the weekend, no worries: The Wharf will be open on Monday, May 5, to ring in Cinco de Mayo with live Mariachi bands, luchadores, sombreros for the first 1,000 to RSVP, and hundreds of piñatas. Indulge in specialty handcrafted cocktails and tasty grub to enhance the fun.

The Wharf FTL’s Cinco de Mayo celebration is nacho average fiesta, so gather your party people and prepare for a weekend of delicious food, drinks, live music, and limitless fun!
