Charm City Burger Co. has been a beloved destination for burger lovers for over a decade, earning a well-deserved reputation. Located off Hillsboro Boulevard in Deerfield Beach, the restaurant has received numerous awards and positive reviews and boasts a loyal local and out-of-town following. In early 2024, Charm City Burger Co. will be relocating north to Boca Raton (exact launch date is to be determined), while the original location will be revamped into Charm City Sandwich Co., a haven for those searching for sandwich nirvana. Charm City Burger Co. also offers various sandwich specials for those who can’t wait to see what’s in store.
The specials vary regularly, ensuring that each day offers a fresh opportunity to try something new. Recently, its offerings featured a chicken parmesan sub, a crispy chicken sandwich called “Plain Jane” with muenster cheese, and an extra crispy tenderloin sandwich available in “regular,” “Fuego,” or “loaded” variations. They also served a hand-shaved Philly cheesesteak in two ways: classic or spicy, with red hot chili pepper relish aioli. Lastly, they offered a chopped Wagyu cheeseburger sub with caramelized onions, hot pepper relish, house-made white cheese “wiz,” and roasted garlic aioli on a toasted sesame seed roll.
“We’re enthusiastic about what 2024 has in store for Charm City,” says co-owner and co-founder Chef Michael Saperstein. “We’re excited to be opening in Boca Raton, but Deerfield Beach is home and always will be. After a facelift, the original space will be reborn as Charm City Sandwich Co., and are confident our fans will embrace it with the same vigor and passion that has made us such a fixture in the neighborhood.”
The co-owner of Charm City Burger Co., Evan David, says that the news about the restaurant’s final day in Deerfield Beach will be announced soon, and it is expected to be during the first quarter of 2024.
