Culinary Stars Unite for Broward Partnership’s Chefs Helping the Homeless Event

The fundraiser was sponsored by BMW of Pembroke Pines, the Leo Goodwin Foundation and Memorial Healthcare System.

Broward Partnership recently organized the highly successful Chefs Helping the Homeless, bringing together the top chefs and premier restaurants for a memorable evening dedicated to addressing homelessness in Broward County. Since its establishment in 2007, this annual gathering has resonated with diners and offered crucial support for the Partnership’s mission.

The evening commenced with a lively cocktail reception at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club. Guests were treated to a unique experience as they drew numbers to reveal their secret dining destinations. They were then chauffeured in luxurious limousines to some of the region’s top restaurants, where they savored exquisitely prepared meals. Each restaurant’s executive chef carefully selected wine pairings, resulting in a truly distinctive culinary journey.

Broward Partnership extends its deepest thanks to the outstanding restaurants contributing to the event’s success. The restaurants include American Social, Anthony’s Runway 84, Billy’s Stone Crab, Burlock Coast, Café Maxx, Casa D’Angelo, Eddie V’s, Livia Bar & Grill, Lona, Maass, Sardelli’s, Steak 954, Takato, Thasos, The Secret Garden, TRP Taste, Vitolo and Wild Sea Las Olas.

The proceeds from this special event will go directly to support Broward Partnership, which funds crucial services like case management, healthcare, housing placement, and food assistance. These programs play a vital role in helping individuals experiencing homelessness regain stability, find employment, and secure permanent housing.

This year’s Chefs Helping the Homeless event was a testament to the power of community support and collective dedication to making a difference. It’s clear that doing good has never been more rewarding. Broward Partnership is thrilled to continue this impactful tradition in the future, knowing that it’s the community’s support that makes it all possible.
