Earth Day

Pinecrest Gardens pulled together families to celebrate the place we call home. Partakers experienced a ladybug release, an eco-friendly fashion show, wildlife and entertainment by the Greater Miami Youth Symphony and Fantasy Theater Factory.

Students countywide entered the Pollution Solutions contest, where student filmmakers created a short video that identified one of seven types of environmental pollution.

Contest winners were announced at the Earth Day event. A huge congrats to Ricardo Alzetta, Federica Kauffmann, Giancarlo Mendieta, Nina Lu Sarria, Elijah Perfetto, Leire Garrogerricaechebarria, Anooshah Bawany, Alexandra Olson, Jose Torres, Valerie Macaulay and Maria Miranda.
