Friedman Elder Law Department Hosts The Longest Day Event at John Knox Village

The signature fundraising initiative of the Alzheimer’s Association takes place every year on the summer solstice, the day with the most light.

The Melody of Memory for Alzheimer’s Association The Longest Day celebration is an upcoming charity event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s disease research and support programs. They also accept donations for the silent auction – gift certificates, merchandise, and gift baskets. The event from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 21 at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach will feature live music performances by The Florida Grand Opera and other local artists. Attendees will be treated to an evening of music, food, and drinks while supporting a great cause.

The Longest Day is a signature fundraising initiative of the Alzheimer’s Association, symbolizing the daily challenges faced by those living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers and the determination to fight against this disease. Sponsoring or participating in the event will support the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to provide care and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s, advance research toward finding a cure, and promote brain health awareness.

Tickets are $50 or $200 for five.
