Selling a home can be a stressful experience and can create a lot of anxiety, especially if you don’t prepare your home for it.

Let me give you some expert advise with some important tips for you to sell your home promptly and stand out among thousands of available properties.  Remember “the first impression is critical when selling your home”.

• Price it right and get real about pricing from the beginning!

Overpricing a home is one of the main factors that prevent a home to be sold quickly.   A home well priced will result in getting many offers to negotiate and getting it sold fast! In today’s market, buyers have many sources to be informed and they know when a property is overpriced.

• Enhance your home’s curb appeal!

Make your home sparkle.  Stage simply the interior and the exterior as well and pay attention to the landscaping.  Make sure to have your home ready  for showings and welcome visitors with an inviting porch or entrance.  Clean, declutter and depersonalize

• Make minor repairs!

Touch up paint on walls and cabinets if needed.  Re-caulk cracks around sinks, fixtures and moldings.  Handle your small and forgotten repairs like leak faucets, broken drawers, etc.

• Differentiate from your neighbors!

Practical and small improvements matter.  Make each space look as large as possible.  Use bright bulbs and light it up.  Use colors and design that will appeal to the widest audience.

• And Finally find the right real estate agent!

Choose to Work with a realtor that knows the area well and make sure he/she is experienced and educated regarding the market     Ask for testimonials or contact details from past clients.  Look if he/she offers a property’s marketing plan and is aligned with a well -known and respected Brokerage company.

If you  follow all these tips, you will be on your way to a quick, smooth and stress free successful sale.
