Testosterone is an important hormone for both men and women. Without an optimal testosterone level, you can’t build muscle and over time you lose muscle mass and strength. In men, a low testosterone level is associated with increased cardiovascular disease, cognitive decline, osteoporosis, sexual dysfunction, metabolic syndrome, and type II diabetes. One meta-analysis (a review of multiple studies) showed that men with low testosterone were on average 48% more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease than those with optimal levels. Wow!

Beginning around age 30, men’s testosterone begins to decline. It can be a quick decline or a slow decline. Men may notice some of the symptoms of low testosterone such as decreased energy, mood, libido, sexual function, brain fog, muscle mass and strength.

We don’t usually think of men getting osteoporosis, but low testosterone can lead to thinning bones – that, combined with poor muscle strength is not how you want to experience your golden years! One fall could be life changing. One in three adults aged 50 and over dies within 12 months of suffering a hip fracture. Again, Wow! Let us help you get your body and mind in great shape for your remaining years! We want you to have a fabulous life with the years you have left.

At LowTE Florida, we use Bio-Identical Hormone pellets to combat the effects of aging – bringing your hormone levels back to the healthy levels you used to enjoy. Let us help you regain your energy, good mood, libido, muscle strength and strong bones.

Carolyn Zaumeyer, Nurse Practitioner and BioIdentical hormone expert has been treating men with low testosterone for many years. To see if you are a candidate for testosterone therapy, call LowTE Florida, 954-791-4498 to set up a free consultation. LowTEFlorida.com
