May and June Are Packed With Events at The LOOP

From Movies by Moonlight to Caribbean American Heritage Month celebrations, there are plenty of ways to enjoy yourself.

There’s always something going on at The LOOP (Las Olas Oceanside Park), but May and June are particularly packed with activities. This month, The LOOP recognizes Small Business Month with giveaways and a photo contest to support local vendors. Memorial Day at THE MKT runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 26. And on May 30, they’ll roll out the lawn for a special Movies by Moonlight screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, transforming the park into a retro-inspired party.

In June, Caribbean American Heritage Month celebrations take place for a week of art, music and community June 27-29. Before that, Global Run Day with lululemon will take place June 4 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and International Yoga Day with lululemon will be held June 21 from 9 a.m. to noon.
