1. Are you a pioneer in laser treatment with several published research studies? We had the first Nd:YAG laser in the country in 1990. We have been involved in five published studies on LANAP. 2. Do you employ leading edge microscopic and culturing techniques to treat and usually cure the bacterial cause of gum disease? We’ve been using the microscope and culture and techniques for over 30 years to identify the actual cause of periodontal disease. 3. Do you lecture to Nova Dental School graduate periodontal residents and faculty on microbiology and treating failing implants? We have lectured at Nova dental school for over 20 years on the microbiology of periodontal disease and on how to treat failing the implants. 4. Are you certified as an Advanced Chao Pinhole Surgeon to treat gum recession without a painful palatal wound? Doctor Mark McCawley is one of only 35 dentists in the world certified as an advanced pinhole surgeon. 5. Are you a specialist in treating bad breath using patented instruments? We have been successfully treating people suffering from bad breath for over 20 years. 6. Are you board certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery? Doctor Mark McCawley is board certified by the American Board of Periodontology. 7. Do you provide sedation for anxious patients? We provide several options for patients who are anxious. You can have a pill to relax or you can have nitrous oxide. If you’re very nervous, we have intravenous sedation. 8. Do you provide treatment and financial options?
