Young dreams. Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre hosts the 10th anniversary of the Young Talent Big Dreams Finals. The free livestreamed event features children 8 to 17 performing in individual and group categories such as pop/rock/rap vocals, dance, musical instrument, musical theatre/jazz standards/classical vocals and others. Nine winners will receive prizes such as performing arts scholarships, cash awards and performance opportunities. The grand prize winner will receive a free trip to attend the live Teen Choice Awards as well as $500 in cash. Sept. 26, 7 p.m.; youtube.com/YoungTalentBigDreams

100 Faces. The Coral Springs Museum of Art will round out the year with a traveling Smithsonian exhibit called “100 Faces of War.” The exhibit presents 100 oil portraits of those who served the U.S. in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars in a variety of military branches and jobs. Accompanying the portraits are emails and letters to loved ones and pomes written for the exhibit. Those who would like to visit the exhibit can do so safely in groups of six for 90-minute reserved visits. Oct. 10-Dec. 30; click here for tickets

Art at the Eatery. The Lincoln Eatery presents its first Art Exhibit at the Eatery, presenting the work of photographer Ysabel Rossi. The original graphic prints will also be on sale Sept. 25, 6-8 p.m. The self-taught artist from Lima, Peru, is inspired by her desire to transform her memories into something unique. thelincolneatery.com
