South Florida Resident Wins United Way of Broward County’s Annual Surprise Car Giveaway

The prize was a brand-new silver 2023 Honda CR-V LX.

Marc Kopelman, an employee at Raymond James in Fort Lauderdale, received a surprise earlier this month thanks to the United Way of Broward County’s Annual Car Giveaway when he was gifted a brand new 2023 Honda CR-V LX.

For over two decades, United Way of Broward County has been giving away a new automobile to a fortunate donor, all thanks to the kindness of the Holman Automotive Group. Broward County inhabitants who donate a minimum of $365 (just $1 per day) to United Way of Broward County throughout the year are entered into a raffle, allowing them to win a brand-new car. Kopelman was selected at random from a pool of over 10,000 donors. Since 2015, Kopelman has contributed to the United Way of Broward County and has been employed at Raymond James for over a decade.

For the giveaway, the General Manager of Holman Automotive Group, Don King, was joined by United Way of Broward County’s president and CEO, Kathleen Cannon, and Raymond James’ Managing Director, Richard Caccamise, along with staff and volunteers. They surprised Kopelman at the Raymond James offices in Fort Lauderdale and presented him with a 2024 Honda CR-V LX.
