The Bunny Hive: A Community Space for Kids and Adults Debuts in Delray Beach

The curated venue allows families to learn, play and socialize.

The Bunny Hive opened its first South Florida location in Delray Beach at 1201 N. Federal Hwy. This social club is recognized for its distinctive approach to early childhood development and for providing an environment where adults can enjoy quality time with their kids. All courses and activities are intended to promote relationship-building among children and adults. The Bunny Hive will offer a range of 30-minute classes for kids from two weeks old to kindergarten, including art, culinary exploration, ballet, music, sensory activities and even baby massage for the youngest guests.

Lauren and Jordan Kocen, residents of Delray Beach and parents of two energetic daughters aged 2 and 3, are the proud owners of the 2,450-square-foot studio right across from PopStroke Delray. The studio’s largest room will be utilized for classes and can be rented out for birthday parties, baby showers or any event with up to 30 families. Additionally, Bunny Hive features a smaller room for nursing or changing, an outdoor deck for activities, and a kitchen.

“We offer an inclusive, creative space for caregivers to meet other caregivers and expand their children’s circle of friends while providing the perfect blend of developmental learning, playtime, and “just-for-fun” experiences,” says Lauren Kocen. “There’s nothing like us in the area and we can’t wait to share our beautifully curated space with the South Florida community!”

The Delray Beach site will feature a diverse range of exclusive, local pop-up activities available to members, including “Grownup and Me Yoga,” jewelry making, ice cream socials and “Trucks and Tea Parties.” Additionally, the venue will organize seasonal events such as a Halloween social, a daddy-daughter Valentine’s Day dance, Easter activities and a special story time with Santa. The Bunny Hive will cater to grown-ups by hosting social events featuring expert speakers in fields like sleep and nutrition and interactive experiences.

At The Bunny Hive Delray Beach, families have the option to join as members, purchase a class pack, or pay for a drop-in class. The limited founding membership is available for $90 for one month of unlimited classes, with a monthly rate of $130 for the lifetime of the membership (usually $150). Members enjoy a 50% discount on events like Halloween and Holiday Parties. The membership, per family, is month-to-month and can be canceled or paused at any time.

Memberships can be purchased either in person or online at www.thebunnyhive.com/delray. The Bunny Hive Delray Beach is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. It is available for events starting at 1 p.m. on Saturdays and open all day on Sundays.
