The Riverwalk Sunday Jazz Brunch Will Bring a High Note to Your Weekend

The free outdoor concert series is held on the first Sunday of each month, across multiple stages.

Music soothes the savage beast, and in such volatile times, who couldn’t use a relaxing day out taking in tunes on the river? The Sunday Jazz Brunch’s free, live outdoor concert series has been featuring the area’s best local jazz artists for years and continues the tradition on the first Sunday of each. month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Well-behaved pets are also welcome, so bring your chairs, coolers and picnic baskets and wrap up your weekend the right way. On June 1, on the Esplanade Stage, enjoy the Horizons Jazz Orchestra. The 16 members are some of the best jazz musicians in South Florida, led by musical director and trombonist Michael Balogh. (You can also listen to them on Apple Music, SoundCloud and Amazon Music.)

At the Connie Hoffman Gazebo, you’ll find the Randy Corinthian Quartet. Corinthian, a native Floridian, CEO of RC Music Group and a talented saxophonist, producer and educator, has shared the stage with a host of notable performers including Bobby Caldwell, Ellis Marsalis, Ron Isley and Alex Bugnon.
