Up on the Rooftop

Check out a couple recent openings in Miami.

The trend of rooftop experiences has become increasingly popular in South Florida’s vibrant lounge and restaurant scene. Recently, a number of exciting new rooftop venues have emerged, offering stunning views and unique atmospheres for guests to enjoy.

Tulum Rooftop Bar & Restaurant has opened on the 15th floor of the W Miami, 485 Brickell Ave. The restaurant started with breakfast and lunch, but dinner service is expected to be launched eventually.

The 120-seat indoor and al fresco eatery is themed on the stylish vibes of Tulum, Mexico. One notable item on the menu is the Tulum Beast Burger, made with an 8-ounce blend of bison, elk, wild boar, and Wagyu beef, grilled queso fresco, demi-glazed mushrooms, arugula salad, red onions, and tomato jam.

Tinta has opened on the second floor of Casa Vigil, 5022 NE Ave.

in Upper Buena Vista. Tinta will offer live DJ music, small plates, craft cocktails and a selection of rare wines on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The menu features Empanada Ossobuco/Churrasco/Spinach, Filet Mignon Sando, Wagyu Carpaccio, Oysters with Yuzu, Iberic Ham Croquettes, seasonal charcuterie boards and a signature Basque Cheese Tart.
