What’s On Tap?

The South Florida cultural/entertainment calendar boasts blossoms, Banksy, and an ode to Pearl Jam

Still Alive: [email protected], the free outdoor concert series courtesy of the city of Wilton Manors, wraps up its winter 2022 schedule with a performance by this popular Pearl Jam tribute band. The concert is slated for Friday, March 18 (7:30 to 9:30 p.m.) at Mickel Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring blanket and lawn chairs—and enjoy the on-site food trucks and cash bar. Bonnet House: The beloved museum/gardens in Fort Lauderdale presents its 13th annual International Orchid and Garden Festival just on the other side of March (April 2-3). Plant lovers can revel in (and purchase) in a variety of orchids, herbs, fruit trees, garden art—and more—sold by more than 30 local and international vendors. Food and adult beverage vendors will be on-site. (bonnethouse.org)

The Art of Banksy: In addition to the ongoing “Beyond Monet,” Miami’s Ice Palace Studios also is hosting “Without Limits,” a pop-up exhibit featuring the works of provocative British artist Banksy. More than 155 of the artist’s works are on display in this customized presentation, created to fit the venue space, that includes experiential areas. The exhibit runs through April 24.
