World of Wonder

A self-described maximalist, Scottie Dunseath believes one thing more than any other in his life.

“Everything we touch, everything we surround ourselves with, should be beautiful,” he says.

As a lifestyle personality, store owner and entrepreneur Scottie has spent the past year and a half creating a new home for himself in South Florida. For Scottie, Fort Lauderdale is more than just the place he has chosen to live. Opening the store Wonderland (2398 N. Federal Highway) with his business partner and friend of over 15 years, Kellie Williams, they have managed to quickly become a go-to destination for fashion, home decor and gifts.

Scottie and Kellie are curators of goods bringing a mix of trends, classic and fun items to their store. Scottie has spent years building a lifestyle brand as a fashion and lifestyle correspondent for TV and radio, hosting features like “Living Up With Scottie D,” dress for success seminars, emceeing fundraisers and speaking engagements, and creating digital content.

Scottie believes in supporting the community, lending his time and talent to charities here in South Florida and back in his hometown of Syracuse, New York. “Create the perfect environment for yourself, surround yourself with beautiful things, dress yourself in beautiful things,” Scottie says. “Because, when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you do good. All of these things create the energy you need to succeed and live a happy life.”
