19th Annual “Miracle on 136th Street” Holiday Parade

Ring in the holiday season at The Falls’ annual parade, which takes place on Nov. 21, starting at 4 p.m. A host of local marching bands, holiday characters, bagpipers, floats, giant puppets and more will join Santa and celebrity Grand Marshal Raini Rodriguez, actress and singer of Disney Channel fame, who will take center stage at 6:30 p.m. to perform some joyous holiday songs.

This South Florida holiday event has become a tradition for many families. The Falls open-air shopping center will be illuminated by nearly a million lights and showcase some amazing animal topiary, including a whale in the waterscape. After the parade, Santa will take up residence in center court and be available for pictures. Spectators are encouraged to show up early and line up along both sides of the parade route.

This year’s “Miracle on 136th Street” parade will benefit the South Dade YMCA Family Center. For more information, call 305.255.4571 or visit simon.com/thefalls.
