There are plenty of fun activities this month.

1. SOCCER FEST SUMMER EXPERIENCE: CityPlace Doral is teaming up with RECREA to host a Soccer Fest Summer Experience to celebrate CONMEBOL Copa America and the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship (UEFA Euro 2024). The free, family-friendly event will occur from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 12 in CityPlace Doral’s Fountain Plaza. Brand ambassadors from Jameson Irish Whiskey will be on-site at Novecento. Attendees can enjoy a soccer inflatable field; a penalty shoot; pool soccer; and performances by costume characters Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. (cityplacedoral.com)

2. MIAMI BEACH CLASSICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL: Miami Beach Classical Music Festival (MMF) is making its highly anticipated return for the 2024 summer series. From now until July 28, MMF will host over 200 classical musicians in Miami Beach, presenting their talents in free public performances and ticketed events. The festival will include three full opera productions and three symphonic concerts. Notable events will include the popular Fourth of July orchestra and fireworks show at Lummus Park; an immersive space symphony concert at Faena Forum; live renditions of Jake Heggie’s Dead Man Walking and Richard Wagner’s Die Walküre; and an immersive performance. 3. CIRQUE DU SOLEIL: Get ready for an enchanting experience as Cirque du Soleil brings Corteo to Sunrise. Directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, this captivating production debuted in Montreal in April 2005 and has since wowed over 10 million spectators across 20 countries and four continents. Don’t miss Corteo at the Amerant Bank Arena for 12 shows only from July 11 to July 21. Tickets for Corteo in Sunrise are available online at cirquedusoleil.com/corteo.

4. FABULOUS FOURTH IN BOCA RATON: Experience an incredible Independence Day in Boca Raton from morning until night on Tuesday, July 4. This year’s July Fourth celebration builds on a rich history of unforgettable events and promises to be larger and more exciting than ever. The Fabulous Fourth event lineup consists of the Firecracker 5K, Liberty Cup Pickleball Racquet Tournament, Block Party and Fabulous Fireworks Finale across the city.

5. POMPANO BEACH’S SOUNDTRACK LISTENING PARTY: The community is invited to join Pompano Beach Arts for a Soundtrack Listening Party celebrating the launch of the city’s inaugural EP, Pompano Beach Soundtrack Vol. 1. This unique EP features artists curated from Lyrics Lab and is a true representation of the city’s distinct musical style. Attendees can mingle with music aficionados and meet the creative minds behind the soundtrack. The event, scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 17 at the Ali Cultural Arts Center, will feature a special sneak peek at the exclusive tracks, a compilation of talent from five local artists scouted at the popular Lyrics Lab open mic event.
