Zeru Miami: The first international restaurant from Mexico City-based Grupo Zeru brings coastal Mediterranean Basque cuisine to Brickell. Chef/partner Israel Aretxiga and executive chef Gabriela Guitrón incorporate “the beautiful and simple combination of wood, smoke and flame” to bring flavorful dishes to life—including croquettes topped with confit mussels; crispy, caramelized rice with Alaskan king crab and saffron; and whole-fish grilled on a Josper oven.
