Broward Center gives the community a backstage pass

When it comes to a good photo, background is everything. And locally, there are few backgrounds as stunning and iconic as Broward Center for Performing Arts.

And now the performing arts destination is offering South Florida a chance to up their Instagram game. The Backstage at Broward Center tour offers an exclusive look at what it takes to make events come to life at Broward Center. Knowledgeable guides share historical and fun facts as they move from dressing rooms to the sound booth to center stage. Fully wheelchair accessible, the tours include an onstage photo op in the beautiful Au-Rene Theater and dressing rooms as well as an insider’s look at scenic elements and puppetry courtesy of Puppet Network. The 45-minute tour also provides entry into the JetBlue on the Flight Deck Club Level Lounge and the exclusive Josephine S. Leiser Room private donor lounge. The tours also boost Broward Center during the pandemic as ticket proceeds benefit the Broward Center’s Road to Recovery Fund.

Tours begin Nov. 18 and are offered on the hour Wednesday through Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Tours will not be offered on Nov. 26 and 27 and Dec. 25. Tickets are $10. Grab yours by clicking here, visiting Ticketmaster.com or calling 954.462.0222.
