Achievement Centers for Children & Families Held Annual Cornhole for the Kids Tournament

The Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF) in Delray Beach partnered with Hopportunities to host the second annual Cornhole for the Kids Tournament earlier this month. The fundraiser generated $6,500, which doubled the inaugural event. The event featured prizes, raffles, music, the Rossanos Vintage Neapolitan food truck and live entertainment.

“It was a great day of cornhole,” Steven Murphy says, one of the participants. “We were glad to be able to raise money for an important cause and help the kids.”

Virgin Voyages donated a cruise for two for the event’s raffle. The winner will receive a Sea Terrace Cabin on nearly any of their voyages in 2023 and choose from Mediterranean trips like French Daze and Ibiza Nights sailing from Barcelona or Miami, which sails into the Southern Caribbean.

Achievement Centers for Children & Families provides programs that help prepare children involved in Early Learning for academic and social success. The nonprofit organization serves hundreds of local children and families yearly from three locations in Delray Beach; Nancy K. Hurd Campus, Village Academy and Pine Grove Elementary.
