Brightline's Miami station revives a holiday experience for the whole family

After being derailed last year by COVID-19, The Polar Express Train Ride returns for a holiday run on Brightline that originates only at the MiamiCentral Station (Fort Lauderdale will not host the ride this year).

The immersive, one-hour experienceโ€”based on the popular Christmas picture book by Chris Van Allsburgโ€”promises golden tickets, hot chocolate, Walkers Shortbread, interactive games, songs and dancing, and plenty of additional surprises (including, rumor has it, a visit from Santa). Face coverings will be required for everyone 2 and older.

Tickets, already on sale, start at $50 for rides beginning Dec. 11 through Dec. 30. (600 NW First Ave., Miami; miamithepolarexpressride.com)
