An Upscale Food Oasis in South Beach: Il Bolognese

Ocean Drive, a historic and vibrant South Beach street, truly comes alive during the day with revelers enjoying some fun in the sun. Within this street lies the Winter Haven Hotel Miami Beach, part of the Autograph Collection of hotels. It’s a gorgeous property that brings comfort, luxury, and a classy vibe to Ocean Drive. Not only does the hotel offer beautifully renovated rooms with plenty of space to rest and relax for those who decide on treating themselves to a stay, but its location on the quiet corner of 1400 Ocean Drive makes it the perfect Oasis—the perfect quiet escape from the hustle and bustle right outside.

The hotel is located within walking distance from restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues in Miami Beach and right in front of Lummus Park. This location is perfect for those who wish to start the day or end the day during sunset with a walk by the beach-adjacent park. This also makes Winter Haven Hotel Miami Beach a place where you can easily plan your day and night in the area.

For those who wish to enjoy the hotel’s amenities even more, we recommend a stop at the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Il Bolognese, with a menu full of comfort dishes, appetizers, and drinks. We had the chance to dig into the restaurant’s bruschetta and classic meatballs as appetizers. We were impressed with the cocktails as we paired up our food with the restaurant’s classic mojito and tried out the mango mojito and sangria. Make sure to take a moment and try the restaurant’s food, and the drinks are the perfect classics that are perfectly refreshing for the beachy area. We recommend sitting outdoors on a nice day, a spot that’s perfect for people-watching and catching the ocean breeze.
