Benefit For Bradley Event to Raise Funds for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital

YouFit Gyms across South Florida and the U.S. will host a 2-day, open-to-the-public event to raise funds for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. The inaugural Benefit For Bradley event was inspired by Bradley, the son of Jose Migenis, Florida Regional Director for YouFit Gyms, who has been in the care of a team of specialists at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital since birth. Bradley was diagnosed with epilepsy, cortical vision impairment and cerebral palsy, affecting his developmental abilities.

On Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, patrons who make a $15 donation will receive a two-day pass to their YouFit Gym as part of its YouFit Lifts initiative to support local charities and nonprofit organizations.

Bagels and coffee will be provided to participants from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., who can also enjoy all the fitness perks, including group fitness classes, Olympic weightlifting platforms, cardio equipment, access to YouFit Gyms premium small group training class, HIIT+, as well as be entered to win a year membership to YouFit Gyms.

All YouFit Gyms locations will host the #BurpeesforBradley Challenge at noon, a 39-burpee challenge. This number signifies the longest number of days in which Bradley has been seizure-free in the past year. Interested participants who can’t attend in person can still donate $5 or record the burpee challenge, tag friends to encourage them to join and post it on social media using the hashtags #BurpeesforBradley and #YouFitGyms.

Guests can sign up in the gym or via https://give.nicklauschildrens.org/benefitforbradley.
