Vinya Wine to Celebrate National No Phone Day With Miami’s Top Restaurants

Wanting restaurant guests to enjoy their meal and camaraderie with friends and family, Vinya Wine is spearheading an initiative to encourage patrons to enjoy a sip of wine with friends or family on National No Phone Day. Organized by Allegra Angelo, Vinya Wine partner and sommelier, Tuesday, April 18 has been declared No Phone Day, with 2023 as its inaugural year.

“I started this initiative because we could all use a mental break from our phones,” Angelo says. “From now on, April 18 is a day to celebrate that. It’s a day to work on a special project, catch up with an old friend, or take a long quiet walk. I encourage everyone to leave their phone at home (for a bit) and feel a world of difference.”

To celebrate, Vinya Wine has partnered with some of Miami’s top culinary concepts, along with the wine brands La Fête Rosé and Studio Rosé by Miraval. On Tuesday, April 18, guests can visit various restaurants between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to enjoy a complimentary glass of Provence rosé by booking a reservation at a participating restaurant and saying “Leave Your Phone at Home” to the manager or host/hostess upon arrival. Complimentary glasses of rosé are limited to the first twenty “no phone” guests at each participating restaurant.

Participating restaurants include Casa Mariano, Vinya Table, Vinya Wine & Market, Harry’s Pizzeria Coconut Grove, Michael’s Genuine, Macchialina, Café La Trova, HuaHua’s Taqueria, Patio Isola and Casa Isola.
