Cooking for Good at Brimstone

With October in full swing, South Florida’s hot spots are honoring the month’s themes, including Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For its part, Brimstone Woodfire Grill is hosting a cooking class with the American Cancer Society. All proceeds go toward ACS to support breast cancer research.

Guests will meet Julio Martinez, Brimstone’s head chef, and learn how to make a healthy three-course meal with menu items such as Mediterranean kale salad, baked garlic rosemary skewers and a poached pear dessert. Plus, those wanting even more health advice can speak to the on-site certified nutritionist.
