Business Executives to Participate in Executive Build Event

The occasion will help a local family own a home.

Registration is now open for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County’s (HFHGPBC) Executive Build (formerly CEO Build). The Executive Build is an annual event centered on fundraising and home-building. It unites executives and leaders to partner with Habitat for Humanity and help local families achieve affordable homeownership. This year’s event is set for Friday, September 27, in Lake Worth Beach.

Robyn Raphael-Dynan, President of RCC Associates, a prominent general contractor firm in South Florida, is co-chairing the event. Adam Handfinger, co-managing Partner of Peckar and Abramson’s Miami office, chair of the Client Service Committee, and member of Peckar and Abramson’s Executive Committee, is also co-chairing the event. He is certified by the Florida Bar as a Construction Law Specialist. Participants are encouraged to demonstrate their leadership by helping to build affordable homes alongside Habitat families.

The Executive Build leaves a profound and lasting impact on the community, offering executives a unique opportunity to connect with others, engage in hands-on volunteering, and enhance their businesses’ brand visibility.

“Executive Build offers a unique platform for business executives and community leaders to take an active role in addressing the affordable housing crisis in our community,” Jennifer Thomason says, CEO and president of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. “By working alongside Habitat families, participants can make a tangible impact and help create lasting change together. Join us on Friday, September 27 to be a part of this vital effort.”

Individuals participating as Executive Builders are asked to pledge a minimum contribution of $3,500 (which can be fundraised and/or donated), sign up for a half-day shift, and help in constructing affordable homes while forming new friendships and business connections. No prior construction experience is necessary to participate. Corporate Sponsorships begin at $5,000.
