Camille’s Pizzeria & Ristorante Opens for Business in Oakland Park

The restaurant’s ambiance captures the cozy feel of an Italian family kitchen.

Camille’s Pizzeria & Ristorante, the latest gem in Broward County’s dining scene, is a haven for those who crave the authentic flavors of Italy. With home-cooked Italian meals that exude warmth, flavors, and traditions, the restaurant promises an unparalleled culinary journey, blending classic recipes with modern creations.

Chef John Kreidich and Maya Kreidich own Camille’s Pizzeria & Ristorante, which aims to whisk diners away to the heart of Italy with its thoughtfully curated menu and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is positioned to be a top choice for those searching for authentic Italian flavors and the warmth and appeal of a family-operated eatery.

Born and raised in New York, Chef John Kreidich developed a passion for Italian cuisine in his grandparents’ kitchen. He later refined his skills at top restaurants in New York and Miami, including The Dutch, a trendy Italian eatery in South Beach and as Executive Chef at Dune by LT in Auberge on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Kreidich’s culinary background is rooted in French and American techniques, so guests can expect a blend of tradition with innovative twists. Co-owner Maya Kreidich, with a background in hospitality rooted in her family’s Lebanese restaurants, brings her expertise to create warm, welcoming environments. Together, they blend their talents to offer an authentically Italian dining experience.

From traditional New York-style pizzas to handcrafted pasta and seasonal delicacies, each dish is meticulously prepared with a profound respect for Italian culinary traditions. The antipasti selection boasts fresh mussels, creamy burrata and impeccably grilled octopus. Indulge in entrees like the Chicken “Parma John,” Mediterranean Branzino, or Grilled Pin Wheel Sausage. The pasta offerings showcase classics like Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, hearty Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Tagliatelle with Wild Mushrooms. Meanwhile, the assortment of pizzas includes the timeless Cheese Pie, Gianni’s Pepperoni Pie and Maya’s Mushroom and Sausage Pie. Finally, wrap up the meal with delectable desserts like Tiramisu and Cannoli’s.

Located at 4165 N Dixie Hwy. in Oakland Park, it is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday through Sunday.
