Celebrate Thanksgiving at These South Florida Restaurants

Not everyone enjoys the amount of meal preparation the Thanksgiving holiday entails. Exhaustion can quickly set it from cooking and cleaning up while entertaining a bevy of friends and family. Luckily for those who don’t want to cook or clean, some South Florida restaurants will be open to serve delicious and convenient meals on Thanksgiving Day.

Some of our favorites include:

Orno at THesis Hotel in Coral Gables

Address: 1350 S Dixie Hwy, Coral Gables

Details: Orno, Chef Niven Patel’s new American concept that recently opened inside the THesis Hotel, will serve Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, Nov. 25, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The dinner will include a plated three-course menu of traditional Thanksgiving favorites reimaged and cooked with fire.

Shooters Waterfront

Address: 3033 NE 32nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale

Details: Fort Lauderdale’s sophisticated Intracoastal staple Shooters Waterfront will celebrate turkey day with an all-you-can-eat buffet at $56 per person. The restaurant’s holiday buffet will feature a carving station, a salad bar and an array of traditional trimmings.

Kosushi Miami

Address: 801 South Pointe Dr. Unit# 105, Miami Beach

Details: Kosushi Miami will be open on Thanksgiving Day for patrons looking for a Michelin-starred unique culinary experience. Kosushi offers a curated core menu featuring a variety of sushi and sashimi and hot and cold dishes, signature selections and maki specials by Chef Shoyo Iida. Guests can also enjoy carefully crafted cocktails incorporating Japanese spirits, a sophisticated sake menu, and a rare Japanese whiskey collection. The establishment is open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Grateful Palate

Address: 3033 NE 32nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale

Details: For guests who prefer to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at home but without the cooking, Grateful Palate will prepare, cook and package a vast spread of holiday dishes for pick-up. In partnership with Shooters Waterfront, its Thanksgiving Day To-Go serves six to eight guests and will be available for $165 per order.
