CityPlace Doral will help celebrate Kiddos Magazine’s 9th Anniversary with a Back-to-School event from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6. The event will include a day of family-friendly activities and entertainment at CityPlace Doral’s Fountain Plaza, 8300 NW 36th St. Activities will consist of arts and crafts, face painting, science and art projects, a reading corner, performances, character meet and greet, food, goodie bags, music, raffles, a hula hoop contest, a toddler zone and much more.
Children attending will receive school supplies and backpacks from exhibitors and community partners. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about valuable resources to prepare their children for the 2022-23 school year. Quantities are limited while supplies last and the child must be present to receive a backpack.
Dade County Federal Credit Union presents the free event and associate sponsor Nicklaus Children’s Hospital will provide the face painting station. The entertainment sponsor Storm Tight Windows will present the hula hoop contest.
