CityPlace Doral Unveils Winter Wonderland Festivities

CityPlace Doral will offer a variety of winter wonderland events through Dec. 31 to celebrate the holiday season. Holiday decorations include multi-colored LED lighting on the center’s Christmas tree, palm trees lining the outdoor shops, and a colorful waterfall display choreographed to everyday favorites and holiday classics.

This season, CityPlace Doral is partnering with Jackson Health Foundation to collect and donate new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages treated at Holtz Children’s Hospital. Through Dec. 16, participating CityPlace Doral retailers are placing collection boxes at their locations to encourage shoppers to donate new unwrapped gifts. Shoppers can also provide support through monetary donations through a QR Code placed at each participating retailer’s registers. Jackson Health Foundation is the fundraising arm of Jackson Health System, Miami-Dade County’s public health system with seven hospitals, a network of UHealth Jackson Urgent Care centers, and multiple primary and specialty care centers. Toys can be dropped off at the following participating CityPlace Doral retailers: Marina Kids, Styles Boutique Miami, CMX Cinebistro, Suviche, Novecento, Brimstone, Chico Malo, Miami Improv, Copper Blues and D&A.

CityPlace Doral is also hosting Winter Kiddos Land from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3. The event will offer festive activities for the family, including arts and crafts, character appearances, a toddler zone, photo booth, Santa’s elves workshop, storytime, letters to Santa station, Christmas songs, snow, cookies, contest, prizes and more.

To celebrate the holiday season, visitors are encouraged to take a holiday photo or snap a selfie and tag @CityPlaceDoral for a chance to be featured on the center’s social media accounts.
