Diamonds Are FURever

The Humane Society of Broward County’s fundraising auxiliary hosted a record-breaking event with 007 overtones. PAWS (Pets are Worth Saving) staged “Diamonds are FURever,” presented by Spirit Airlines at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa.

The sold-out affair raised more than $200,000 for the Humane Society’s many programs. Shari Hall, Alyse Lemstrom and Debbie Trapani served as co-chairs for an evening that featured red-carpet photos, three specialty bars, live entertainment from The Crush, silent and live auctions — and a drawing for a diamond crossover ring in 18-karat white gold from J.R. Dunn Jewelers (won by Vyara Davidov).
