Dive in to Shark Week

Shark Week is right around the corner! Celebrate the fun and fright of this week-long Floridian favorite at the Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel recently partnered with Discovery Channel’s “Shark Week” team to raise awareness of shark conservation efforts with fun events and nightly episode screenings through August 4.

Guests can enjoy a dive-in viewing party of a “Shark Week” sneak peek on Saturday, July 27 at the Ritz-Carlton’s seventh-floor pool deck. Enjoy shark pool floats, marine-inspired bites and Laudy, the property’s hammerhead shark replica on this exclusive evening while watching Discovery footage that the rest of the world will have to wait to see.

From July 27 to August 4, the Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale will be screening “Shark Week” episodes without commercials every evening in the property’s waterfront restaurant, Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits. These screenings will be accompanied by “shark bites” and shark-themed cocktails.
